The Shed has hard copies that can befilled in and returned to the Secretary – Paul L’Huillier.
The Shed has just completed two major projects.
The Decking Seat was a free job by the Shed and required some expert advice and skill provided by project leader Rod Hyde. Rod was assisted with construction by Les Bevan, Mark Hardidge, Dick Puttyfoot, Ian Erbacher, Ian Howley, Len Sim, Lindsay Ikin and Warwick Mitchell. Transport and installation was provided by a number of other members.
The Boat Project was lead by Ray Connelly ably assisted by Len Sim, Bob Ferris, Les Bevan and Ray McDonald. This was also a free job provided by the Shed.
The projects demonstrate that the Shed is supporting the community and the committee thanks all involved.

Changed Days & Times for July & August
No Committee Meeting or BBQ in July.
The Annual General Meeting will be on 21st October 2016 (not in September as previous)
Dederang Mt Beauty Football & Netball Club Home Games. The Shed collects the entry for the Club and we sell raffle tickets to raise Shed funds. There are three remaining home games – 23rd July, 6th & 13th August. Major Shed Projects — Three Shed projects are nearing completion.
Recent Projects Completed
Come along to the Shed’s monthly BBQ Lunch. This month, as part of Health Week, we have a guest speaker: Russell Maher (Community Development Worker – Integrated Primary Mental Health Service).
Program: Mark Hardidge assisted by John Driver and Graham Caulfield will again be providing us with many BBQ delights. There will be the usual socialising, camaraderie and fellowship.
Note the change of start time to 11:30 for Shed inspection, project updates (6 in progress at present) and general chit chat on all things to do with the Shed. Food will be served at 12 noon with the guest speaker starting at 12:30 pm.
Shed Operating Days & Times — Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Morning tea is at 10:30 am and is a great time to social and to get to know the other men. You are most welcome. Note: For July and August these days and times will most likely change. Members will be notified.
The number of older people in the Alpine Shire is rapidly increasing.
Alpine Health and Alpine Shire Council are wishing to promote Awareness of Elder Abuse in the community and what can be done to stop it, both as individuals and as a community.
To promote this awareness Mr Gary Ferguson, Community Eduction Coordinator – Seniors Rights Victoria has been invited to conduct a community information session on Elder Abuse and the role of Seniors Rights Victoria. The session will be followed by afternoon tea.
The invitation is extended to all Shed members.

The Men’s Shed members have been invited to attend a talk organised by the Probus Club of Mount Beauty on Wednesday 8th June 2016 at the Tawonga Hall.
The guest speaker, Rebecca Carne from the Law firm, Nevin, Lenne & Gross will talk about power of attorney, wills, estate management and other issues that are of interest to our members. There have been significant changes in recent times to the power of attorney provisions and these can be quite complicated. Rebecca will be happy to answer questions on any legal topic that may be of concern.
Nevin, Lenne & Gross is a regional law firm with offices in Myrtleford, Wangaratta, Shepparton, Wodonga, Bright & Mt Beauty.
