Winter Shed Happenings

August 28, 2019 By Paul L'Huillier

There has been plenty happening at the Shed the last few weeks. Projects involve Shed development, client jobs and community tasks.

We welcome new member Ciro Luchini from Tawonga South.

Community Projects

Barry Hinson is building a Bike Rack to hold four bikes for the Hospital Opp Shop.

Shed Development Projects

Eagle Chair installation is now complete. The sign pictured is now attached to it. Thanks to Mal Darwent & Barry Hinson for seeing this Shed project through.

Client Projects

From Left: Len Sims & Shane Clooney. Bending wire mesh for a client to be used as a Gabion on their front fence.

From Left: Len Sims repairing a bar bench and Dick Puttyfoot working on the computer routed Parks Vic signs.

A frame made to support the display mirror that will be placed on a tripod. Warwick Mitchell did the excellent work on this project.

A special birthday celebration for committee member John Driver. Eighty years young. Congratulations John. Elene Wood of ‘Studio e Cakes” mob: ‭0409 673 192 provided the cake. Dick Puttyfoot using his newly acquired computer routing skills produced the OBE – “Over B…. Eighty” award. We had 16 members in attendance.

Warwick Mitchell is currently constructing a large wooden Garden Box (2m long x 0.6m wide x 0.8m high) for a client.

Rod Hyde is making a kindling splitter for use by the Shed. He is modifying an old piece of machinery to build it.
