Hi my name is Josh and I am raising funds for 15 rescued dogs to become Assistance Dogs to support our serving and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members who are dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD)
I am a returned servicemen who served in Afghanistan. I deployed three times over a period of four years and needless to say, this was extremely tough on myself and my young family. After returning from deployment I realised that I was not coping, and after my wife expressed her concerns, I decided to get help. In August 2013 I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as major depression. This sent our world into a spin.

Sweet Valley Sounds – Volunteers needed Sat 7th February
The annual Sweet Valley Sounds event is on again this Saturday 7th February at the Mountain Bike Park above Mt Beauty. The event starts at 11:30am and finishes at 10:30pm.

We need 8 volunteers (wearing vests) to work in 2 x 2 hour shifts using 4 men per shift. Volunteers can be in attendance the whole time (not just for their shift) if they wish to enjoy the music and entertainment provided (it’s free for us volunteers).
Can you please indicate your availability to Paul L’Huillier by Thursday 5th February. Telephone: 57544554, Mob: 0400 056 247 or Email: <paullhuillier@bigpond.com>

On Sunday morning the organisers would appreciate some extra help in dismantling the facilities. If you can assist please indicate this to Paul L’Huillier. Again, the Shed benefits financially by assisting.
A Reminder – Bunk assembly at Bogong Wed.17th.
On Tuesday 16th December Eric and Rob (Outdoor School – Bogong maintenance staff) are dismantling the remaining downstair bunks. This is very good news as it means we don’t have to do it.
We need workers for — Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th December meeting at the Scout Hall at 9:30am.
Wednesday is when we are transporting all the bunk sections to the Outdoor School – Bogong to be assembled in the bottom floor rooms. It requires a lot of helpers.
